(3 hours) Prerequisites: BIOL 380 and BIOL 380L & BIOL 323 and BIOL 323L & CHEM 301 (grades of "C" or better). Corequisite: BIOL 423L. An in-depth study of modern laboratory techniques used in recombinant DNA technology. Emphasis is placed on cloning strategies and nucleic acid detection schemes. Lecture: 3 hours. This course cannot be challenged. Offered: SPRING
