A study of major issues related to teacher leadership with an emphasis on the connections between teaching and leading. Participants view educational issues from four perspectives - human resource, structural, political, and cultural - examining various ways to address them. Issues are discussed in terms of implications for teacher leadership and the past influences, present impact, and possible future effects of the issues. The course culminates with a teacher leadership experience.
