(3 hours) Prerequisite: HIST 212. An analysis of the diverse nature of the American experience in World War II, a conflict often regarded by Americans as a ?good war.? This course surveys a variety of topics, including diplomacy, military strategy, the nature of combat, the home front, and the war as a catalyst for change in society. This course cannot be challenged.
