(4 hour(s)) Prerequisites: Math placement or MATH 099 grade of C or better. An intermediate algebra course designed to prepare students for further study in mathematics. Topics include linear equations, inequalities, graphs, and systems of linear equations. Additional topics include quadratic functions and their graphs, polynomial, rational, radical, exponential, and logarithmic functions and operations. A (minimum of one) 30-minute individual tutoring appointment is required each week. This course cannot be challenged. Note: This course does NOT meet the liberal arts core requirement.
