(3 hours) This course provides an opportunity to assess ethical and legal issues confronting nurses and other healthcare professionals. Concepts, theories and values in the ethical decision-making process related to ethical dilemmas will be examined. Ethical and legal concepts and principles underlying nursing and health care and the legal parameters of professional practice will be analyzed. Offered: Spring.
