(3 hours) Prerequisites: Enrollment in the BSN Program, Completion of Semesters 1 & 2. This course is designed to introduce Palliative Care Nursing to the undergraduate BSN student. It will provide an overview of the role of the Registered Nurse in palliative care including the nursing process, ethical considerations, family care and patient advocacy. This course cannot be challenged.
