(6 (4-0-2) hours) Prerequisites: Completion of all 200-level ASBN courses and NURS 322. Corequisites: NURS 405. Application of the nursing process in the care of the maternal/child population in the hospital and community settings is emphasized. Care will focus on the health needs of related to the normal and absnormal physiological changes and psychosocial promotion and maintenance in the maternal/child population. Counts for ELR credit. This course cannot be challenged.
