(3 credit hours) Prerequisites: A declared major of Political Science and POLI 101 and POLI 201; PSYC 301 (non-lab portion) or a statistics course approved by the department. This course provides political science majors with the theoretical and practical foundations for further in-depth study in the field. It combines an introduction to the techniques used to conduct and evaluate political science research with a discipline-specific application of statistical methods. This course is a graduation requirement for all political science majors. This course cannot be challenged. Offered every Fall.
