(3 hours) Prerequisites: CRIM 210 and CRIM 227 or PSYC 212. A study of correctional systems and their relationships with other components of the criminal justice system from a management and administration perspective. Also analyzed, within the context of local, state, and federal correctional systems, are policies relating to sentencing, classification, custody, prison demographics, programs, and services.
