Prerequisite: MATH 130 (grade of ?C? or better). This course is a study of the basic principles of geometry and its relation to algebra and other strands of mathematics. It is designed to provide prospective teachers with the background knowledge of geometry required to effectively teach the subject. A conceptual understanding of geometry and the mathematical process of reasoning and proof will be emphasized as well as practice given in teaching the subject. This course cannot be challenged.
