Prerequisite: MATH 222 (grade of “C†or better). Mathematics 325 and 326 need not be taken in sequence. Introduction to the theory and application of linear algebra. Matrices, systems of linear equations, determinants, vector spaces, linear transformations, eigenvectors, and eigenvalues. Students will be expected to utilize a computer algebra system to complete laboratory assignments. Lecture: 3 hours. Laboratory: 2 hours. (Laboratory fee required.) Offered: Spring only. This course cannot be challenged.
