(3 hour(s)) Prerequisite: MUSI 130 or 198. This course is a study of competencies for music notation and other specialized music software programs and how they are used in professional music settings. This course will include, but is not limited to, the creation of lead sheets, piano vocal scores, chord charts, and full orchestrations. During this course students will combine previous musical knowledge with technological skill to understand music publishing at a professional level.
