(3 [3-0-0] hour(s)) Prerequisites: BIOL 226 and 226L with a grade of āCā or better. This course is designed to provide a foundation in the pathophysiology of human disease processes. Students are provided a study of the fundamental changes in human physiology due to disease, disorders of cell biology, inflammatory processes, and alterations in mechanisms of defense. Focus is on knowledge and understanding of the disease process and manifestation. This course cannot be challenged.
