Prerequisites: all MSN courses in semesters I-IV. This course focuses on nursing leadership incorporating theory and research as it applies to the role of the nurse educator in a variety of settings. Emphasis is placed on strategic planning, negotiation and other strategies required for effective leadership. This course provides a forum for the analysis and synthesis of role behaviors specific to the nurse educator, and includes an in-depth analysis of the roles and responsibilities of nurse educators.
