(3 hours) Prerequisites: Admission to the MS program and PSYC 537. A focused examination of the theories associated with family therapy. In particular, attention will be given to the unique assessment and counseling process with couples and families. Students will learn a variety of therapeutic approaches for working with families as well as with the relational dyad. This course cannot be challenged.
