(3 hours) Corequisite: SPAN 110L. This course is designed to provide a foundation for understanding, speaking, reading, and writing Spanish. The focus on communication will provide the student with real situations in today's world, and the opportunity to learn how to respond in the language effectively. *Daily* online laboratory/workbook/homework requirement, plus a mandatory, weekly one-hour laboratory course (SPAN 110L). In order to assure proficiency of the language, the student will be required to have weekly face to face conversations with other students and the professor.
