(0-1 hour) Corequisite: SPAN 110, SPAN 111 or SPAN 112 This course will supplement the students' Spanish language proficiency and enhance their cultural awareness. It will explore the unique implications of the integration of the Hispanics in the US, through art, sacred and secular music, short stories, sports, movies, social media, magazines, and newspapers. This course is a mandatory one-hour weekly laboratory. It should be taken in conjunction with one of the following: Spanish 110, 111, or 112. There is a synchronous component to this course.
